We liked each other before we even said it out loud. Looking back it's almost funny, we were already acting like two people who cared this much, long before any confession made it official.

Every random reel turned into a whole conversation. The smallest, dumbest video could remind me of you, and somehow you always knew exactly why I sent it.

Some of my favorite memories of us are the ones where nothing happened. Game nights, hours of just being near each other, not doing anything important, just okay with doing nothing, as long as it was with you.

We didn't get the easy version of this. Family acceptance got in the way more than once, and instead of pretending it was fine, we chose to fight for us anyway, even when it hurt.

You once told me you dreamed about marrying me, about building the life we always talked about. I never told you this, but that memory has never left me. Not once.

We joked about eating Buldak together at midnight someday, when we'd finally be living under the same roof. I still think about that someday. I never stopped.
